Instructions for the Participants

  • Applications received till 12:30 pm on 29th November, 2023 will be considered
  • Spot registration is also accepted
  • Participants should bring their School/College ID card
  • Participants are requested to be present by 9:30 am at campus
  • All events will begin at 10 am so participation in more than one event is not possible on day 1
  • Maximum of 3 students can enroll from each School or college solo event
  • Maximum of one team can be enrolled in a group event
  • Hazardous, toxic or inflammable materials are not permitted.
  • Certificates will be given to all participants Valedictory Function at the end of the same day

List of Events and Rules

1. Physics Lecture Contest

Topic : College participants Any topic from I & II PUC Physics Syllabus prescribed by the PU Board
  School participants Any topic from 9th and 10th Science Syllabus prescribed by SSLC/CBSE/ICSE board
  • This is a solo event, a maximum of 3 participants can enroll from a college
  • Time limit – 6+2 min
  • Use of Chalk and Board (if necessary participants can get chart & model)
  • Electronic gadgets are not allowed, No PPT

2. Mind mapping

Topic :  College participants: Any topic from I & II PUC Chemistry Syllabus prescribed by PU Board

School participants: Science of Global warming

  • This is a solo event, maximum of 3 participants can enroll from a college
  • Time limit – 60min
  • Bring necessary Stationery materials & White KG Card board sheet Chart must be prepared on the spot Electronic gadgets are not allowed

 

3. Pencil Sketch of Scientist

  • This is a solo event, a maximum of 3 participants can enroll from a college
  • Time limit – 120 min
  • Colour Pencil not allowed
  • Bring necessary Stationery materials
  • References can be use
  • Electronic gadgets are not allowed
  • Mention the Scientist name at the top of the Paper

4. Bio Rangoli

Topic : Human Physiology (Human organ System)

  • This is a solo event, a maximum of 3 participants can enroll from a college
  • Time limit – 90 min
  • Participants should use rangoli powder only
  • References are not allowed
  • Electronic gadgets are not allowed

 

5. Poster Making and Presentation

Topic: Innovations in Science and Technology

  • Two students per team, One team per College/ School can enroll
  • Time limit: 60 min
  • Bring the necessary Stationery materials
  • Electronic gadgets are not allowed

6. Product Launch

  • Two students per team One team per College/ School
  • Time limit: 5+1 min
  • PPT can be used
  • Professionalism needs to be maintained
  • Content, if found to be copied, will lead to immediate disqualification

7. Mathematical Minds

  • Two students per team
  • One team per College/ School
  • Electronic gadgets are not allowed
  • Decision of quiz master is final

8. General Science Quiz

  • Two students per team
  • One or more teams per College/ School
  • Electronic gadgets are not allowed
  • Decision of quiz master is final

9. Essay(English)

Topic : The Role of Science in Space Exploration

  • solo event
  • Time limit: 60 min
  • maximum of 1000 words
  • Bring necessary materials
  • Electronic gadgets are not allowed
